Preview and View the Broadcast
Audience.playback.tv or Audience.playback.sign
If you have an x264io and a separate playback system, you can use the x264io output on your creation system as a preview.
If you have a separate Audience.playback system for on-air, and don't have a x264io installed on your creation system, you can preview using the built in Audience.playback.sign engine on your desktop.
To preview your output
- In Audience, go to File > Audience Settings.
- Place a checkmark next to Enable MediaScreen.

Audience.foundation will need to restart for the change to take effect, and you will then see your show in a window on your desktop. If you can't see your mouse once the preview window is open, simply left-click once on the preview to get it back.
Audience.web systems
Preview Your Show on you Audience.foundation System.
- With Audience.foundation running, start Internet Explorer.
- Type http://localhost/playbackname/ in the Internet Explorer address box to go to a specific playback. The forward slash at the end of the address is required when specifying a playback.
- If asked, install any software published by Digimation Incorporated or Capital Networks.
This will preview your playback in Kiosk mode. Note: you do not need Audience.web installed on your Master system.
Note: Press Alt + 4 to exit Kiosk Mode.
View over the Internet
This requires an Audience.web license. Make sure Audience.foundation is running and configured for LAN, WAN, or Internet connectivity.
Start Internet Explorer, and in the address box, type:
- http://servername.com or
- http://servername.com/playbackname/
